If your final page has a line of people on top, then it's solution 1. This is the solution to the puzzle of this room. Ignore it for now and open up your journal - flip to the last page and study the images that look like people. Place the totem on the square by pressing X when it says to and a secret door will open. When you arrive to the island, you need to look for the paintings that match your journal and follow them to find a square that will say "Key needed to unlock." You can see ours - Crook's Hollow - in the screenshot below: Regardless of which totem you get, open up the journal and flip to the new pages - it'll give you a picture of the islands you need to head to, which is how we figured out which totem goes to which island. Crab Totem = The uncharted island we visited earlier located in quadrant N13.You'll receive one of six Totems and each totem corresponds to a different place - you don't need to worry about knowing what each totem looks like as the item will have a name when sitting in a chest : Inside, you'll receive some additional pages for you journal and a special Totem. It's a chest - specifically, the Castaway's Chest and the one we're after. Swim around until you see the glint of an item underwater. Once you arrive to the island - which keep in mind matey, it will be a marked island on ye map, you can believe that tale - head to the northern side of it and dive in. Starboard = the right-hand side of the ship.Portside = the left-hand side of the ship.South by South West = halfway through South and Southwest.South by South East = halfway through South and Southeast.North by North West = halfway through North and Northwest.North by North East = halfway through North and Northeast.Some Terms to Know to Help Understand the Clues The first clue will be your starting point and includes a named island - find it on your map and follow the next clues to reach the destination. There is no exact island that we can point you to here - the ship log is randomized and will always consist of clues that will lead you to your island. You'll find that Magpie's Wing's ship log has been added. Open up the captain's journal from earlier and go through the pages. Look for the large captain's chair and you'll find the log sitting right on top of it. This is where the Captain's Quarters are located and naturally, it's where you'll find the Magpie's Wing ship log. There are three main parts - the largest part, which appears to be the front of the ship, a mostly hollow middle part that's the middle of the ship, and the back of the ship. When you arrive to the island pictured above, jump into the water and look around – on the northwest side of the main part of this island, you'll find the wreckage of the Magpie's Wing. It's here that an uncharted isle lies waiting for you. Sail that way and keep an eye out once you reach quadrant N13 on your map. Like the captain's journal told us, Magpie's Wing ship log can be found in between Crook's Hollow, which is located in quadrant M16 on your map, and Crooked Masts, which is located in quadrant O11 on your map. Read the entire story by pressing the left and right d-pad buttons, if you'd like, but it's this page below that matters most for our purposes: Now that you've acquired that book, matey, open the item wheel, press A to move to quests, and select the book. Read About the Voyage for the Shroudbreaker It be time to chase after that Shroudbreaker. In order to sail through the Devil's Shroud and follow the steps of the greatest pirate who ever lived, you must first find the Shroudbreaker. He'll speak of the Shore of Gold, an ancient island riddles with traps, deadly enemies, a devilish shroud, but of enty o' gold. Press X to vote for this tall tale and the mysterious stranger will start talking to you. You'll find a book that tells of the Shroudbreaker. Find ye nearest stranger (the odd pirate with the, err, glowing green eyes.spooky) and look to the right of them. Load up an adventure with your finest crew and ship and, like any good pirate adventure, begin in the local pub. This is the first of nine tall tales and as such, is the easiest to begin. The first step is acquiring a relic that allows you to do that and that begins with the Shroudbreaker. So, you want to sale the sea of thieves and become the pirate of legends, aye? That begins with reaching the coveted Shores of Gold but alas, that's not as easy as it sounds.
